Aluminum fence cost for view lots, pools and front yards
Ornamental aluminum costs more than chain link and less than custom steel, and it is close to maintenance-free in salt air.
Aluminum is priced by panel grade, height and style. Residential panels suit most yards; pool-rated panels have tighter picket spacing; commercial grades use heavier pickets and rails. Puppy-picket bottoms, decorative finials and arched gates add to the price. On waterfront lots the open design also saves money on posts compared with a solid fence that must resist more wind.

A worked example: a marsh-view backyard
A 200-foot four-foot black aluminum fence along a marsh-front backyard with two walk gates:
- 200 ft at $36 to $60: $7,200 to $12,000

Total about $8,100 to $13,800, with nothing to paint or seal afterward.
