Effective: October 2026. Questions: hello@wilmingtonfenceworks.com
What do we collect?
From the estimate form: name, phone number, ZIP code, the fence type selected and any notes typed into the details box. From a phone call: the calling number, the time, and the details you give the automated assistant that answers the line. A recording notice plays at the start of the call; recordings are used to check that names, addresses and numbers were taken down correctly. From the website itself: page counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies or build a profile of you.
What about the chat window?
The chat box on this site is run for us by an outside software provider. Anything you type there, including your name, number or the fence details, is passed to us so we can reply, and your browser keeps your recent chats for up to 30 days so the conversation is still there if you come back.
Why do we need it?
To return your call, book the measuring visit, prepare the written estimate, schedule the installation crew, and file a fence permit or send drawings to an HOA when the job needs one. Job records are also needed for warranty questions and tax records.
Who sees it?
The person who calls you back, the estimator, and the insured fence contractor assigned to build the job. Where a permit is required, the City of Wilmington or the relevant county office receives what the application asks for. Nobody buys or rents your details from us, and we do not pass them to advertisers.
How long is it kept?
For as long as the job, its warranty period and tax rules require. Contact details from a request that never became a job can be deleted on request.
What can you ask us to do?
Send an email to see the record we hold, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also decline recording by saying so when the call begins.
Is the site meant for children?
No. It is for adults arranging fence work, and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
